Level: Master's Degree

Objectives:

The Master’s Degree in History was approved during the 132nd Meeting of the Technical Advisory Council of Higher Education (CTC/ES) CAPES*, in December 2011. Our program contributes to the education of teachers, researchers, and human resources in general, with the objective to prepare these individuals to develop teaching and research activities in History.

Target Audience and Admission Requirements:

An undergraduate degree in History or related areas is required for all Master’s Academic programs at institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education. The Master’s in History accepts foreign students that fulfill program requirements as determined by the Federal University of Sergipe and/or Exchange programs reached between Brazil and the applicants’ country of origin. The Council of Graduate History Programs determines these resolutions in accordance with the current legislation.
