Objectives:

To prepare Education professionals for scientific research activities;
To develop skills in educational research, qualifying professionals in the Northeastern region and other regions of Brazil;
To establish the exchange of academic cooperation with various national and international institutions, deepening the research, production and socialization of knowledge;
To solidify the role of the Federal University of Sergipe as a qualified centre of knowledge production in the Northeastern region of Brazil.

Teachers’ Education: Knowledge and Skills.

Target Audience and Admission Requirements:

The selection process for admission in the Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Education starts with the publication of a formal announcement. Master's level students require Undergraduate Degrees in Education and related areas, duly recognized by the Ministry of Education. Doctoral students require a Master's Degree that is duly accredited by Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel(CAPES).
